From Sign-Up to Payout

Of course, we evaluated the video banner on the official World Investors S.à r.l. website, as well as some other design elements on the pages, such as the statistics block. Let us say right away that the successful design choices affected the page load speed (at least the main page), but this could have been tolerated. However, as it turned out, the content and functionality here are much worse. Let’s give a few examples:

  • Compare the lists of accounts and their characteristics on the Account Types page and the main page. They don’t just differ slightly, they are two completely different sets taken from different websites.
  • Try to find the documents regulating the relationship between the broker and the trader on the website. They are absent. Even the links in the registration form lead to missing pages. It turns out that the company does not enter into any agreement with the client, does not guarantee confidentiality, does not warn about risks, and does not even fight money laundering.
  • You can even try to register. First, choose the best account currency from the three options: GBP, GBP, and GBP. And at the end of filling out the form, do not forget to enter the Registration Code. Don’t you have it, and you don’t know where to get it? Of course, from the support specialists. The only question is: why such complications? Wouldn’t it be easier to just contact support, where they will create the account for you?

These are only the problems that immediately stand out when first encountering the World Investors S.à r.l. website. The longer you stay on it, the clearer it becomes: a real broker would never allow such a fake. However, such “web resources” are quite common among scammers. The creators of the site have done everything to immediately declare: this is the product of fraudsters, it is not trustworthy.

Our Trading Experience World Investors S.à r.l.

It could have looked strange at least if the broker didn’t praise its trading terminal. World Investors S.à r.l., of course, did not miss the opportunity to mention the almost instant execution of client orders, an optimized interface, and a complete set of analysis tools.

However, in the process of getting acquainted, we found out that the company offers traders a terminal from Easy Technologies. We are well familiar with this software, which is often used by scammers. We also know its main shortcomings:

  • Poor organization of the asset list. The program does not allow the hiding of unused symbols. As a result, the user always works with the full set, which slows down the process of selecting assets for trading and monitoring prices. Adding to Favorites and the search system do not fully solve the problem.
  • A limited number of graphic analysis tools. The terminal offers only 4 objects, which limits the traders’ ability to build their own trading systems.
  • The lack of even desktop-version tools for developing and connecting new modules (indicators and trading robots). Therefore, you’ll have to forget about non-standard trading systems and automated trading.
  • The ability for the administration of the trading server to directly intervene in the quote flow. Such changes to market information virtually eliminate the possibility of honest trading from the broker.

It turns out that the World Investors S.à r.l. terminal is far from ideal and even from most other trading programs. The identified serious shortcomings can lead to significant losses for a trader instead of the expected profits. However, this fits well with the goals of scammers.

The situation with the trading conditions presented on World Investors S.à r.l. is even worse. Let’s start with the fact that the broker does not provide contract specifications. Instead, in the Products section, there is a table listing the available trading instruments. It only contains (besides current prices) two important parameters: the step of the trade volume and leverage. However, these parameters have nothing to do with ‌real trading conditions. The step is listed as 1 standard lot, and leverage as 1:20, which contradicts the information on the main page.

As it soon became clear, the information about account types on the main page is also false. This list has only 4 accounts with deposits ranging from £100 to £120,000. However, on the Account Types page, completely different information is provided.

Account types

The list of accounts here is much wider and includes:

  • Intro, with a deposit from £100 and a maximum leverage of 1:10.
  • Beginner, with a deposit from £5,000 and a maximum leverage of 1:20.
  • Silver, with a deposit from £25,000 and a maximum leverage of 1:50.
  • Gold, with a deposit from £75,000 and a maximum leverage of 1:100.
  • Premium, with a deposit from £150,000.
  • VIP, with a deposit from £250,000.
  • Partners, with a deposit from £1,000,000.

There are no other trading conditions here. The trader will not find key indicators affecting costs such as spreads, swaps, and commissions. A reasonable question arises: why does the company prefer to hide this information? It seems that trading with World Investors S.à r.l. is not as profitable as the company’s advertising claims.

In addition to the question of which account list the trader should trust, there are many other issues. For example:

  1. How familiar is a European company offering bonuses from 50% to 100% with the local regulators’ requirements that prohibit their use?
  2. Who guarantees traders a ROI of 9-18%? Where does the broker get the money for payouts if, according to its own information, it does not have access to client funds placed in segregated accounts?

But the main question after reviewing the trading conditions is completely different: should you trust a broker who cannot even clearly present the most important information for traders?

The Reality Check

The company World Investors S.à r.l.’s registration data cannot be found on the website. Instead, the broker posted a modest statement saying it is part of the FxPro Group Ltd. This name is well-known in the community, and the companies of the group, offering brokerage services worldwide, are registered in several countries: the UK, South Africa, Cyprus, the Bahamas, and Seychelles. Each of these companies has a license from the local regulator, based on which brokers conduct legal (let’s emphasize this) activities.

However, there is no mention of World Investors S.à r.l. in the list of active platforms within the group. In fact, there is no reason for FxPro to create another company targeting the European audience when its Cyprus-based company has no trouble servicing users across the entire EU and EEA. Therefore, we view the broker’s claim of being part of the group as an unsuccessful attempt to create a backstory for itself.

By the way, all FxPro companies strictly adhere to a corporate style in the design of their official websites. Against their backdrop, the website of World Investors S.à r.l. looks foreign. This serves as further confirmation that the claim of being part of the group is fake.

The next attempt by the project owners to create a legend is the display of a company address in Luxembourg and a phone number with the country’s code on the contact page. Strict European requirements for financial services allow us to assume that the company is registered here.

World Investors Sàrl - in Luxemburg registry

Indeed, there is a company registered in Luxembourg under the name World Investors S.à r.l. It was registered in January 2015, is currently active, and its main area of activity is financial holdings.

It might seem that the broker we are talking about operates legally in accordance with European laws. Unfortunately, this is not the case‌ — ‌this is again a legend, this time a more successful one. What exposes it is the fact that the real company does not have licenses from the local regulator, CSSF.

World Investors Sàrl - no Luxemburg license

It turns out that no legitimate brokerage services are being provided. Since European firms go to great lengths to avoid false information (for which they are severely punished), we can conclude that our broker and the real Luxembourg company are completely different entities. The only thing that unites them is the name, which the platform creators illegally use to cover up their activities.

In reality, the broker does not have:

  • Registration.
  • License.
  • Corporate bank accounts and cards.
  • Legal source of quotes.
  • The ability to fully organize trading on the Forex/CFD market.

It turns out that all it can do is simulate the process. Naturally, the money sent by traders to its accounts is not involved in this and, most likely, has already been embezzled by the fake company.

How Long Has World Investors S.à r.l. Been in the Game?

The broker is eager to publish details from its “own” history to create the illusion of a long-standing, successful company. For example, on the homepage, it has a block with significant dates. According to its version, the company started operating in 2008. On the “About Us” page, there is different information: here it says the company was established in 2010, with over 20 years of experience in the industry (it seems the content managers have some issues with arithmetic). Additionally, we remember that the real company World Investors S.à r.l. was created in January 2015, meaning it has been in existence for 10 years at the time of writing this review.

Such date confusion is not something we’ve seen in a while. Therefore, we tried to establish the truth using a WHOIS service, which provides the exact domain registration date.

Domain

We can see that the project owners registered worldinvestorssrl.com on December 28, 2024. Its age is about 1.5 months. That’s where the discussion about the platform’s existence ends — it has only existed for these 1.5 months. The statistics claiming 3 million clients and 100 industry awards in 1.5 months is an outright fake.

Extra Fraud Indicators

The short existence of the company is also evident from the few World Investors S.à r.l. reviews available online. All of them are posted either on social networks or thematic portals.

The first group praises the broker, talking about its professionalism, safety of cooperation, and excellent trading conditions. However, we found nothing specific in these posts. Clearly, they were written on order, and the authors have little understanding of the subject they’re discussing.

The second group offers an entirely opposite view. Experts quickly exposed the lie and unanimously concluded: the platform operates without registration and license, deceives users, and was undoubtedly created by fraudsters. Naturally, they do not recommend working with it.

Is World Investors S.à r.l. the Right Fit?

The arguments presented in the World Investors S.à r.l. review are more than enough to understand: the broker is a scam and cannot be trusted. Once again, we note that it operates without registration, illegally uses the name of a real existing company, has no licenses to offer brokerage services, and much of the information on the site is misleading. This applies not only to the company information but even to ‌trading conditions, which contain outright fakes. Naturally, all funds sent to the accounts will be embezzled by the fraudsters.

Weighing the Benefits and Drawbacks

Interesting design solutions on the website.
The entry threshold of £100 is accessible to nearly every trader.
The broker is not registered anywhere and operates online. To appear legitimate, it illegally uses the name of a real company from Luxembourg.
The fake company does not have a license, and it provides brokerage/dealing services illegally.
The website contains a lot of false information, including two different account type lists.
The information about the creation date of the broker is fake, as is the statistics.
The project owners order positive reviews on social media.

The creators of this project are enriching themselves at others’ expense, and traders in World Investors Sarl are openly being scammed. The platform works exclusively to drain deposits, and it is impossible to make money, even with extensive trading experience. I lost almost 9,000 GBP from my 12,000 GBP deposit, and I can’t even withdraw the remaining balance. I made a withdrawal request, but it was denied without explanation. I contacted support, but instead of help, they sent me to the bank. Here’s my unpleasant story… Don’t get involved with this scam!
